High Point Market Trends
I visited High Point Market for the first time and was overwhelmed with inspiration! It was great to sit on so many upholstered pieces, touch and feel the quality of casegoods, and find inspiration through the various showrooms. I noticed a few trends while I was there and wanted to share.
1. Going Green - while there were a lot of neutrals at market, there was also a ton of green! From sofas to accessories it was everywhere. Green is one of my favorite colors so I was excited to see it on trend but a color I know can stand the test of time.
2. Rattan and woven accents - so much rattan! We saw a ton of light fixtures with rattan wrapping, but also mirrors, seating and more with woven accents. I like small amounts of rattan and love it in a beach house, but this feels like a trend that may come and go quickly but maybe I'll be proven wrong!
3. Acrylic / lucite - is lucite coming back (or maybe it never left) but I was inspired by some of the more interesting acrylic pieces with warmer accents and hope to use them in some upcoming projects.
I can't wait to use some of these trends for current and future projects and look forward to going back again!
